The wilderness of Washington's rugged Olympic Mountains beckons! We
will
explore rugged ocean coastline, beautiful ancient rainforests and hike
over
an alpine pass with views of glacier clad mountains on this weeklong
naturalist wander. Along with huge trees and grand views, we may encounter
some of the amazing wildlife of the Olympics which include Roosevelt
elk,
black bears, and mountain goats.
We will track along sandy beaches, watch wildlife in the forest, hike
beautiful trails, and tell stories around the campfire. Come prepared
to test yourself physically as we carry all we need down the trail and
over the mountains!
